Panagiotis [“Takis” for old clients and friends] established the firm in 2004. He is a qualified solicitor [1999] as well as a qualified Greek Lawyer [2005] and he promoted [2012] as a lawyer of the Supreme Court [Areios Pagos] . He works hard to make the firm live up to the term “a boutique law firm”. He is an LLM in Maritime Law [1995 UCL] holder and his favorite topics are shipping & commercial litigation /arbitration and ship sale and purchase. He enjoys very much to find practical solutions in very complex matters.
Dimitris (“The Chairman” as we all call him) retired from the bench in 2007 having awarded the title of the Vice President of the Supreme Court. He is a consultant to the firm. His presence and experience is invaluable.Very strong ethics hence no photo here!
Maria is a fast thinking lawyer and loves to find practical solutions for the clients. She joined the firm as a trainee and qualified in 2008. She speaks English and French. Her favorite topics are ship sale and purchase, ship finance, Port Authorities, CMR, Companies,Maritime Labour disputes (Defence), Commercial litigation.
Anna is a fastidious lawyer that loves perfection. She joined the firm as a trainee. She qualified in 2011. She speaks English. She holds a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and an LLM in Maritime Law from the City University. Her favorite topics are shipping, transportation and commercial law, with an emphasis on international trade and carriage of goods disputes, as well as on maritime casualties. She is also a Mediator, accredited by both the Piraeus Mediation Center (KEDIP) and the Greek Ministry of Justice.
Sany is a very sharp and ambitious lawyer with top academic credentials. She has an English law background after having obtained her Law degree from the University of Reading and an LLM (Maritime Law) from the University of Southampton. She speaks English fluently – claiming the best accent in the firm – and she also has a profound knowledge of the French language. Her favorite topics are shipping litigation and arbitration as well as commercial/corporate law.
Vasso joined the firm in June 2018, as a Trainee. She holds a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and is a member of the Athens Bar Association since December 2016. She speaks English and German. She has been trained during her previous employment in Criminal, Civil and Commercial law cases and currently assists the Greek litigation department.
Aristea joined the firm in 2021. She is member of the Athens Bar Association since 2019. She holds a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) from the Democritus University of Thrace and an LLM in Maritime Law from the University of Southampton. She has handled legal practice in commercial law, contract law, corporate law, civil and criminal law. Her legal knowledge has focused on maritime law matters. She has waded into issues of charterparties, marine insurance, admiralty law and ship finance.
Vivi joined the firm in January 2022 as a Trainee. She holds a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from the Democritus University of Thrace. Her mother tongue languages are Greek and German, and she speaks English fluently. She is handling corporate law matters and she intends to specialize in maritime arbitration following the attendance of a suitable LLM.
Christina joined the firm in 2022 and is a member of the Piraeus Bar Association since 2018. She holds a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. She also holds an LL.M diploma in Corporate Law and Finance and a diploma in GDPR and DPO Training. She handles civil and commercial matters as well as administrative law cases. She is fluent in English and Italian and has a good knowledge of French and German.
Stefanos joined the firm in June 2022, as a Trainee. He holds a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) and an LLM in Maritime Law from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and previously attended a Bachelor in Political Science and Public Administration again in the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. He is now focusing on Maritime law. He speaks English and French fluently.
